Tough Touring Awning to Rhino Rack brackets   - Available in UP or Mid mount combinations

TRADE pack of 3 Bracket sets.

These brackets Bolt straight up to  Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform planks directly Using the Provided 6 x 16mm  High Tensile Dome head bolts and 6 x Unistrut Nuts.. .that slide into the Rhino track.

Its Likely that you will have to drill 1 hole (9mm) in each bracket as the rhino rack pioneers second plank is always in a different position depending on the rack/vehicle /width combo...

This Kit is available in a 'MID' Mount - or an 'UP' Mount -

The Mid Mount places the awning beside the rack and sits 120mm Above the rack - 30mm or so below it. (total Height 190mm)

The UP Mount places the awning entirely ontop / above the rack - 180mm high - Suitable for Taller people or lower cars, as well as vehicles with Lifting rear door and wind fairlings, like the 200series, Y62 and Discovery vehicles..

Designed to handle immense twist forces - and stiffen up the rack itself - this is the  most ridgid bracket system we can make for this rack - , recently updated to specifically suit fit up to the new profile 2021 Rhino Pioneer rack ... (as well as the old ones)

Note that these Brackets CANNOT BE USED on Rhino Tradesman Racks unless the sides can be removed - We do not presently have a bracket set that fits up to the Older Rhino FIXED Tradesman Side  style racks. as the hoops on the sides are out bound and foul on the awning.

Please note: These are not Rhino rack products, and their use voids may any warranty you have with your Rhino Product. Tough Touring brackets are Modifications designed to strengthen and adapt the Pioneer rack system to take the immense twist loads of Pole less awnings...

Rhino rack has many variations to their racks - and our Brackets have slotted fixings to provide the most combinations of Bolt points possible, however their planks can be at many different widths...It is rare now at Version 6 of these brackets - but sometimes it may be desirable /necessary to drill a new hole in our brackets to line up unusual racks / older racks or new mods from rhino  to get around other accessories...

For wagons - We would advise where possible mounting the rear bracket approx 40mm forward of the plastic rhino edge profile, (Total of 80mm from the back edge of the rack)  to achieve the best possible coverage over your door join (Stop rain getting in) - Almost all rear swinging pole less awnings will swing out 100mm BEHIND the back edge of the bracket.

See Pictures above for fitting the brackets  instruction (Thats it) its pretty easy - The Bolts provided slide into the Rhino rack tracks and you do em up... Thats it...

These brackets were designed for fitting by professionals - however the installation would be considered amongst the easiest of all our product installs. You will need aa 6mm Allen key to do up the Dome Nuts . You will need a 13mm spanner and 5mm allen key for the awning install - (Ostrich wing) too...

The Kit supports a wide variety of Pole less wing awnings, including forward swinging 180 270 awnings ...

Enjoy...
