The  Patriot X1 N Bare Top Model and we've done a  mod for it to accept of our popular  Roof  top tent racks... The 'N' Model features a smaller 1685mm long factory roof rack - which we utilise and strengthen to provide the perfect mount for our RTT rack. 
 
Customers can choose to add bolt down chequerplate aluminium sheet if they like to the factory rack - on the example above its simply bolted down to the existing factory patriot rack.  
 
With Chequerplate fitted underneath - Storage height is 325mm high - The rack can be fitted at 1pproximatly 1400mm width if you wish to preserve the offset for the Factory Lifting arms and Awning, or right out to 1600mm if you don't.
 
The Rack comes with the Front panel plate and 2 x Aluminuim Plates for easy addition of a set of Max trax / Recovery holders ... (We do not supply max trax or the mountin pins as there are many choices there to choose from the Genuine Max trax branded ones are readily available locally for around $50 from Anaconda as well as  many other retailers.
 
The Rear opening of the Rack is left open - Its up to you if you wish to enclose it, we don't make a custom door for it. 
 
The 'Holes' in the rails are large enough to put your fist inside and get to gear stored under the rack, During use, Ive found that a single strap at the rear tying down a large item like a couple of chairs or a bunker works perfectly to keep the rest of your gear inside. 
You can of course have a local canopy builder fabricate a rear door for you - thats up to you if its needed. (We can't do these as everybody mounts their racks at different widths. ). 
 
4 End point triangulation brackets are included as anti flex supports, which bolt into the factory planks and also onto our rack. These prevent sideways flex through the rack and fatigue on bolts / fittings and hardware.  on the trailers roof. 

The Rack KIT comes complete with 4 of our Aluminium TOP HAT BAR PLANKS - offering lightweight yet solid support for your roof top tent. 
 
Very happy with this rack. Its set up on this Patriot  shown fitted with a Tuff Trek Mk3  tent - Which in turn is fitted with Tough Touring Awning to Tent  Brackets to hold the awning onto the tent without the need for the Lifting Awning arms...  The Supported awnings are listed  on the Link above ...
The  Mild Steel Foot rails Rack with 4 Aluminium Planks came in at 45 - 50 KGS as shown in Pics...  - The Kit is shipped in two large boxes - 45 x 2.2 x 15cm (22-25 kgs each)

We all really like this set up, Its actually unreal as the room underneath is great - like having an empty ute tray to load where ever you go with wood and chairs and stuff.... Really handy.  Its a true game changer for deep offroad touring. 

The Max trax are added at the end of the rack fitting, and the cross bar that they mount to further adds to anti flex stability through the rack. The handy position of the trax is great for quick deployment - especially for levelling up daily. You'll dig it. The front max trax holder also doubles as a wall for gear and is included with the kit. The Individual Max trax Bolts are not included. They are typically stocked at major camping outlets (anaconda, ARB , TJM etc.) the Aluminium Chequer plate back plates are but will need to be drilled to fit your particular trax - everybody has different ones...
