Toyota Troop Carrier ' Rear Shower Cubicle Additiion' Gutter Mount Kit.
This listing is for the Drivers side shower cubicle add on Kit that adds a shower cubicle to our existing pole less awning kit.
Recently re-designed - We have re-engineered the kit to come in even stronger and easier to install - Simply un- Install the rear hook bracket on your existing Tough Touring troopy Brackets -
Replace the Hook plate with the new longer one (Which has the Left hand side shower cubicle mount built onto the end of it ) - Then bolt on the new additional Gutter Clamp front foot between the windows (For window troopies), and you will have 2 mounts to install the awning and Shower Cubicle...
They are constructed entirely out of Australian Mild steel here in Australia.
This Shower Cubicle Kit Can ONLY BE FITTED TO THE REAR DRIVERS SIDE OF THE TROOPY .
The brackets can be removed at any time reverting the Troopy to origional . No Holes to drill.. Its all just bolt on. This kit MUST be run in Conjuntion with an existing set of Troopy Pole Less awning brackets, It cannot be purchased to run standalone... All Brackets finished in Black Dulux Textura Powdercoat , Baked at 500 Degrees Celcuis...The Bracket set comes complete with all mounting hardware.
You will need a 13mm Spanner, 6mm Allen KeyThis bracket set is immensely strong - Care should be taken to guy down and even Run poles on Pole less wing awnings in unprectable wind to ensure no damage is occassioned to your awning or vehicle should wind strength exceed the awnings load limits. If desired you can put the front leg infront of the front window if you wish to run a 2.1m long shower cubicle, or between the windows for shorter 1.2m Cubicles typical of the majority of ones available in AU. All Kits Come PRe-Assembled ready to fit.
This kit fits all models of Troop Carrier from 1984 to present.
Some Modifications may be required to Mounting Holes, Bolts, Spacers etc in use of Unsupported Brands of Awnings that we have not yet come across...Any use of an unlisted awning is at the owners discression and please let us know how you went, as were always looking to add more awnings to the supported list.

1 Modified rear hook bracket in Lieu of the standard Rear hook bracket ( The Hook Bracket has a folded front section which the shower cube shares - )
Tech Specs and Installation Basics
Before Installing this Gutter Bracket, Please ensure that the RHS of your troopie Gutters are free of dirt, Putty, glue, fibreglass or any obstructions. From there the Gutter mount kit simply Drops into the gutter, clamps are then bolted on from the outside edge and your brackets are installed. The Positioning of the shower cube is limited to the back rear corner of the vehicles drivers side, as the brackets utilise the existing Hook bracket mount - (This in part becomes part of the rear fixing point for the shower cubicle. )
The front bracket is placed along the gutter at the front edge of the shower cubicle. Ensure that windows etc are not in the way - DO NOT place the foot of the bracket ontop of any glass window. It will break the glass !
