NICE FEATURES
The 300 series Electronic rear Tailgate door and windfairing / aerial design causes major issues with the majority of roof rack to roof tent installations... We've gone through 6 variations of test racks before coming up with the right balance of low profile / vehicle balance and a foul free fit up - of popular wing awnings, and our rack allows the 270 awnings to be correctly positioned to cover the gap between the awning and the door to keep the rain OUT.

Technical / Fitting
Fitting:
Tough Touring roof rails can be fitted by any roof rack fitter, or yourself if your handy. Included is a tube of Sikkaflex 221 Automotive sealant and new High tensile steel mounting bolts. Adding the rail planks is easier on the back - as the unique design of the TT roof rails allows all bolts to be accessed from beside the vehicle.
Adaptability:The Roof racks have been designed by us to to accomomodate awnings and roof top tents specifically without fouling on Vehicle wind fairings etc on most popular awning brands available toda
Our Vehicle Specific 'One Piece ' roof rail Kits for the vehicles above follow the vehicles roof lines perfectly while positioning the rack precisely around foul points / Protruding wind fairings - they have been tested with most of the awning and tent combinations listed and are the closest possible fit we can achieve.
Listed on the Store page are extra Top hat bar planks to add to your roof rail while the tent is removed - You would typically require at least 4 slats to create a functioning roof rack. (The Front and Rear Tough Touring Slats remain on the rails as the tent is lifted off, two slats would go up and off still fixed to the tent, So purchase an additional 2 slats - Bolt them on while the tent is off, and fitted you would then have 4 slats back on the car for a functioning rack - (and no need to remove the awning...Which stays fitted to the front and rear tough touring slats.) You could add up to 10 in total....
