Tough Touring has designed and built aluminium Renewable power stations to allow Dual Battery systems to be easier to install and remove as one unit. We've Called them RPS - Renewable Power stations.

Dual Battery Systems have 2 Jobs - Charging Batteries and Delivering Power. One off customisation can be expensive, Installing a 'Slide in' pre built Full blown Dual battery system with Chargers, Inverter, and Outlets all built in already is a much more economical way to get a high powered set up into your vehicle.
Also called 'power walls' - (Where all the compoents are installed on a panel and then the Whole panel installed into a canopy - Has developed into these slide in and easily removable / portable RPS - Dual Battery Systems...

Why did we have to start building slide in - semi Portable RPS and why are they a better way to go than starting from Scratch and installing components individually into trucks ?

Our own growing energy needs have developed with Starlink, computers, 240V houshold appliances and E-powered bikes being important to the type of travel were doing these days.
​
We needed more power - more often.
RPS systems work the same way as a Built in Dual Battery system - but we wanted a self contained Dual battery system that you could move between vehicles - (that cost less and was more versatile) - so we began building our Dual Battery Systems into Portable Cases...
The RPS was born!
