Tough Touring makes a Full size 2.1 x 1350mm Low Profile  Touring Platform  to Suit  Land Rover Discovery 3 and 4, The Rack itself is as Low, Light and Strong as we can build it, It utilises the Landrovers inset M10 Roof bolts for enormous load strength. 
 
The Rack Includes a front wind fairing for the quietest ride - and is warranted to any load you wish to carry in our 'No questions asked' off road warranty.
 
It Features Versatile Multi purpose Design, Specifically built  to suit fitment of typical touring equipment like Pole less Awnings, Jerry can holders, Axes, Shovels and Chainsaws with ease. 
 
The Tough Touring Platform Roof Rack for Land Rover Discovery vehicles bolts onto the roof rack rails 'Beside the vehicle' making the change over very simple - just 3 bolts each side to remove the platform- Should you wish to remove it for garaging height when home. 
 
No other system has been designed in the world that is as low / simple / versatile or as strong.

The Platform Rack option  itself weighs around 40 Kg complete with all fitting hardware and Planks. 
 
Our custom designed rails and  crossbars come in an "outfolded" Configuration - Creating the lowest and strongest mounting rack/  foundations for your chosen roof top tent and Awning .
 
 
The Discovery rear Tailgate door allows foul free fit up of popular wing awnings, and our rack allows the 270 awnings to be correctly positioned  to  cover the gap between the awning and the door to keep the rain OUT. 
 
 
All parts cut in Australian MILD Steel, SandBlasted for Maximum Paint Bond  and Powdercoated in Black Dulux Textura for ultimate durability and rust resistance.
