Tough Touring makes a Super Low mount  roof top tent rack specifically for the Land Cruiser  120 and 150  Series Prado  -  Its a Versatile Design, Specifically built  to suit fitment of Roof top tents using Removable Lightweight cross planks  - and or to also accept our Tough Touring Platform.
 
The Beauty of the design is that when roof tent is removed, the platform can be dropped on - giving the prado 4wd true versatility .
 
Both Roof top tent and the Touring Platform bolt to the roof rack rails 'Beside the vehicle' making the change over as simple, painless as possible.
 
No other system has been designed in the world that is as low / simple or as strong. 
 
Pole less wing awnings can also be incorporated into the Roof top tent rails, as well as the Platform if desired.
 
The Roof top tent Rack option  itself weighs around 23Kg complete with all fitting hardware and Planks. - With planks removed and Platform added instead, the Rack weighs in at Approx 40Kgs (varies vehicle to vehicle). 
 
Our custom designed rails and  crossbars come in an "outfolded" Configuration - Creating the lowest and strongest mounting rack/  foundations for your chosen roof top tent and Awning .
 
ABOUT THE ROOF TOP TENT RACK OPTION.
This option comes with Unique  type of Rack  Planks to marry up to the roof rails - "3 x Top Hat Bar Planks"  are supplied for Ultimate strength and easiest tent removal/  Each Bar Plank can handle heavy duty point loads, While they also allow independent Awning to rack installations with Pre -drilled mount points already cut using our Tough Touring Awning to Rack Brackets shown here 
 
The Tough Touring Roof Top Racks are  Capable of handling typical Hardshell Tent loads in harsh off road environments - and can withstand a lifetime of punishing corregation abuse with their zero weld, M8 Bolt up structure. The Tough Touring Racks  sit so low they help reduce vehicle body roll and wind noise - they also improve vehicle stability. 
 
The Prado's rear barn door allows foul free fit up of popular wing awnings, and our rack allows the 270 awnings to be correctly positioned  to  cover the gap between the awning and the door to keep the rain OUT. 
 
The front and rear top hat planks  are pre drilled to accept our Pole less wing awning brackets, giving immense twist strength and a super stiff mount point for oversized wing awnings.

6 abs spacers. 
32 20ml x High Tensile Hex Bolts for rails to feet and planks to rails.
74 washers.
32 nylex nuts.
1 Tube Sikka flex Adhesive sealant.
12 x 40mm Hex Head bolts for feet to vehicle. 
2 x Low Mount One Piece Roof rails - Folded at 80 degrees with 2 Tough Touring logo's fitted on sides 
6 x Rack Feet - Folded at 75 Degrees - Designed to fit Front and Rear Inside the roof rail, middle one outside the rail for maximum anti twist and easy installation.
