Our famous Ostrich wing awning to Bundutop Tent brackets - Now stiffened even further with additional anti flex triangulation tabs and larger offside anti tent twist brackets.
Please ensure when fitting these brackets that the Small Triangle TAB on the brackets is fitted ON THE LOW/DOWN Side of the tent...
Tough Touring Logo also now in Brushed Aluminium and can be fixed anywhere you like or left off altoghether if you don't want to advertise for us .

The Base Kit comes with 7 pieces + required rivetts and bolts for mounting.
The base kit now also incorporates an adjustable hook bracket, allowing tightening of the hook for tropical areas, or releasing out a bit for tighter setting awnings or Dry climates.
This Kit as an OPTIONAL Extra - You can add 'Suite and Annex' integration Bracket set (Another 3 Parts) that allows you to mount the Suite base and Through Poles off the Annex through the tough touring brackets without fuss.
The Base Kit is cut to allow the Annex and Suite Kit components to be added later if you wish without modification or removal of the already installed components. (no problems if you want to consider adding those parts later down the track).
Be carefull to mount the brackets with your tent sitting on a flat level surface if you need a flush mount prior to rivetting them to the tent, as clearances are tight. (Especially if your fitting the tent to a flat canopy)
As a rule of thumb - Mount the brackets approx 5mm below the aluminium tent base rubber edge (Where the tent seals when closed) and again - Ensure that the triangular tabs on the brackets are on the underside...Enjoy - they are super ridgid and easy to fit.

AWNING Postitioning INFORMATION IMPORTANT
Brackets fitted to Bundutop Tents sit flush with the base of the tent - making them OK to install directly onto the lid of canopy or Racks that are wider than the tents base...
All Other Tents Bracket systems (ALL CLAMSHELL TENT BRACKETS) DONT fit flush beside the tent and require the tent to sit on a rack ABOVE the canopy. Some tents like the EEzi Awn tents brackets have to sit below the tent as far as 90mm.
MEASURE and Check. The awnings are usually about 200mm top to bottom thickness - Ensure there is room beside the tent and if its a clamshell tent, below it as well ... Open doors etc, check they will open under the installed awning.
