We have designed a simple double folded tripple bracket to fit to the drivers side of the UEV 490s roof camber for fittment of pull out shower cubicles.
The Kit is easy to install, with each bracket fixed to the top cambered section of the roof line with 3 x M8 Nutsert (dome nuts) per bracket and sikkaflex adhesive sealant.
There are 3 Brackets in the kit, ample strength for any shower cubicle awning of even the larger sizes.
These brackets are well strong enough for even teh largest shower cubicles up to 15Kgs. They are not reccommended for any pole less awning as the brackets cannot triangulate for stiffness along that axis.
Whats great about these brackets
Hardware supplied is High Tensile M8 Bolts, you can get to them easy enough to do up into the nutert points that you'll fit.
Use the bracket itself as its own template for your nutsert holes, we'd reccommend drilling a 11.8mm hole, a 12 mm will do if correct drill size is unavailable, just don't bore it out any bigger...
Built for purpose - These brackets are excellent for their intended purpose - and thats shower cubicles - with their fixing point being anywhere on the top camber section of the roof - it leaves you free to litterally install place the shower cubicle in any position or orientation, allowing even the largest cubes like the Bundutec 2.1 SUITE base, the Joolca 2.1 etc to be fitted. Forming a little side room out the side doorway.
Installation Instructions
The Brackets fix to the top edge of the conqueror via Nutserts which are in the kit. There are no written instructions..There is a tube of sikka flex sealant and adhesive in the kit, it is reccommended that you do up your nutsert Bolts lightly to allow the sikkaflex to have a thickness of around 3mm for maximum bond strength. After a few days - you can do the bolts up tighter once the sikkaflex has dried fully.
