Tough Touring Awning to Roof top tent  brackets bolt straight to the majority of roof top tents using the tents side bolt track profiles - 
 
The Brackets wrap around the corners of the tent, providing and excellent stiff and sturdy mount point. Additional Stiffness can be added as required via a Rear Stiffening tab =- It bolts onto the bracket fold if you need even more strength for heavier awnings or rear 270 - Forward fold 180 awnings.  (The Front 180 Section requires even more strength than the rear 270). 
 
Twin Slots on the bracket face allows the brackets to hang almost every known variety of Awning, including the heavy duty Australian and South african awnings. The Slotted mount point accepts out to 135mm spaced bolt patterns and accommodates quick pitch and alucabs 50 x 50mm patterns as well. 
 
The brackets bolt up to any single track m8 extrusion, and are reccommended for use with pole less wing awnings as well as tradiional pull out type awnings, they have built in spacing to put the awning out and around gas struts, and include our unique hook bracket that eliminates twist in windier weather and removes the need to add tie down points for the awning strap. 
 
We use this awning bracket on the majority of Chinese built roof top tents coming through our workshop these days, there is no other known bracket system as strong. 
 
Please note that 'slimline' tents with very low profile base sections  and single Bolt track can often successfully run these brackets, however strength is compromised and poles should be deployed when in use. RTT with Twin Bolt Tracks tend to have much better strength and stiffness overall and often have better options to move latches and hinges  - as such are reccommended over slimline single track tents for hanging Pole less awnings or Shower Cubes)
 
The Brackets place your awning directly beside the tent on the Passenger or drivers  side, As they are mirroed and can be fitted either way... The awning when fitted will sit flush with the base of the  tent making the awning brackets suitable for tents mounted on canopies also that have limited space with lifting side doors. . 
 
 
Its likely that your chinese manufactured tent has a single m8 bolt slot on both its top and bottom side profile, to test if the tent will take the brackets - Just slide an M8 bolt into the track and see if it fits, If it does not, other bolts or square nuts will work too, you will just have to have the tent manufacturer supply them or source them locally yourself. 
 
At time of writing there were over 75 variations of similar Roof top tents coming out of china - they all have various latches and securing clips / hinges, and typically all use the same mounting bolt track as our brackets - To fit our brackets to the tent - Its necessary to un-do and move some of the fittings, typically you can move them a few centimeters furter inwards or outwards to give you the room to add awning brackets without any effect on the tents security. 
Some fouling of the spring steel poles is avoided by moving the bolt track that retains the poles to the top edge further back along of the tent base.
