Toyota 100 and 105 Series Roof Top Tent Rack
Tough Touring 100 Series Toyota RoofTop Tent rack is a Low Profile / outward folded roof rack designed Specifically for roof top tents and heavy loads consistent with offroad touring.
This Roof top tent rack uses the same footrails as our platform racks, making switching between roof top tent and our Platform a simple 3 bolt each side installation and removal.

The Tough Touring Racks are so low they help wind drag and noise from bulky Tents, while the low profile and forward positioning that the rack provides moves the weight of the touring gear lower and futher forward than traditional touring racks - which also help reduce body roll /improving vehicle stability.
The LC 100 Once Piece Rack we supply has been designed with ' shorter rear' , allowing pole less wing awnings to swing through their arc and be set up with minimal fouling on the rear doors small Wind fairing. This also allow RTT to sit lower and forward further, allowing swing around awnings to cover and stop rain ingress through the rear tailgate doors gap.

SPECIFICATION
At Present - Its design has evolved into a 1 piece foot rail and with 4 seperate feet - Improvements have further increased strength and its simple installation makes it a no brainer. Latest upgrades have added the Platform installation points to the rails, making the roof tent and platform racks interchangable via 3 bolts accessable from beside the vehicle. (You can switch from a roof tent to a platform in about 15mins if using a ceiling hoist or similar)

RECCOMMENDED PLANK WIDTHS
For Ultimate strength and easy install / removal the standard size is 1450mm bar planks to go with this rack for all roof top tents - Except the Bundutop KING which requires 1550mm planks .
If your Going to install your awning to the rack rather than the tent, We'd reccommend you order at least 50mm wider Top hat bar planks than your tent width.
All Planks supplied are manufactured in Aluminium for lighter weight and Corrossion resistance. )

Please note that if your wishing to accessing a roof top tent from the rear on the 100 series, YOU CANNOT USE THE STANDARD LADDER HERE, as the Wind fairing fouls on the tent unless you fit it RIGHT back at the rear which will cause other issues...It must be fitted on the drivers side.
We'd reccommend you fit an aftermarket rear door ladders (One that is fixed to the vehicle) .. on this vehicle is Our rack design takes into account this option, as fitting the tent forward offers more of the the pro's and less of the cons
Alternatively The 100 series has no issues with ladder access from the drivers side of the vehicle.INCLUSION LIST
The LC 100,105 Tough Touring Roof rack Kits includes:
* 2 x Super Low One Piece outward folded 3mm Mild Steel / 8 point roof rails (80Degrees outward Fold) - 1950mm long
* 4 x TOP HAT BAR Planks / Slats - 1400mm in Aluminium Powdercoated BLACK
* 8 x 75 Degree Folded Roof rail Feet* Assorted ABS spacers
* 16 x High Tensile Hex Bolts and washers for rail mounting into the rail channels
1 Tube Sikka flex Adhesive sealant
16 x 20mm Countersunk Hex Head bolts and Nyloc nuts for fastening roof planks to rails.
*Unique Design means all bolts to roof rack planks are accessable from beside the vehicle for easy removal once fitted.
Made to order usually we try to carry stock of these as they are super popular - we cut them 5 at a time. Your order will usually be delivered within around 2 - 4 weeks (S0metimes shorter) depending on where the present cut / powdercoating stock is at.. The rack is all localy manufactured - -
Tech Specs
The top rail feet have been heat folded to 75 Degree angles to allow maximum camber while still giveing tool access, top foot rails now folded through 100 degrees - (outfolded) (1 big lengthways fold) for super solid - zero flex -and heavy load... Unreal rack.. The 100 is among our favorite vehicles and its 4 point super strong roof just makes it easy for us to look good :)
Recent updates means the Kit now comes complete with 8 x ABS Plastic 10mm spacers - allowing fittment of the rack kit without removal of the Roofs rubber inset trim.. (The feet fit straight in Easy as).
All parts made in Australia using Mild Steel, Sandblasted and Powdercoated in Black Dulux Textura.
