Installation of Eezi-Awn Roof top tents

There are 4 types of installations broadly applying to Eezi Awn Hard Shell tent to vehicle applications.

They are:

  1. Tent to roof-rack (Bolts Slide in North-South along the base of the tent -  and can be then through-bolted into your rack or roof rack East west cross bars)

  2. Tent can be fitted to your canopy (Bolts slide in North South on tracks under the tent,  then lowered into holes drilled into canopy top - Then through-bolted into your canopy) 'Z" rails can also be used but they can add more height.

  3. Eezi AwnTents can be Bolted directly to Tough Touring roof racks  (click link for more info)  (Easiest) - See 105 series cruiser beside for example

  4. Custom - We also make custom Adapter plates for cutsomers  already running Front Runner roof rails wishing to install the tent without crossbars. Note that Bottom rails on tent need to be removed and custom steel fab is required if installing direct to Front runner or Rhino rails.

It is true to say that some vehicles suit some tents far more than others. Custom fitting is usually required for super low super awesome fit ups...

The Stealth Installation can be very simple using its included fitting hardware, however, some mods like installing it directly to roof rails can lower the tent and further reduce height and wind noise. Look through the kits above that we have designed for this tent. The results are incredible and take this tent to new levels .

The Video above shows our wind noise testing before arriving at our decision to manufacture a roof rail adapting plate system to avoid having to use 'east west' roof rack crossbars with the Eezi-Awn tents.

Note that this tent is also easily removable using our system, all mounting bolts are accessable from beside the tent - When the tent is removed, the rails stay on the vehicle and planks can be added to make it a funtioning rack when tent is off.
